Brandon Ford is a percussion performer and educator based in Fort Wayne, IN. He has degrees in Percussion Performance and Music Education from Indiana-Purdue University Fort Wayne. Brandon currently teaches private lessons on percussion and guitar and is active in the Fort Wayne music scene performing regularly with groups such as: The Dan Smyth Trio, Earthbound, The Brad Kelsey Band, The Larry Ford Trio, and educational percussion trio the Dumpster Drummers. Brandon has been featured as marimba soloist with the IPFW Percussion Ensemble on pieces such as: Concertos # 1 & 2 for Marimba and Percussion Ensemble by Ney Rosauro and Timeless by Michael Burritt. In August 2005 Brandon was vibraphone soloist on Mozart's "Concerto for Glass Harmonica" with the Fort Wayne Summer Symphony. He has also had the opportunity to open for nationally known blues acts Joe Bonamassa and James Cotton. Brandon has been teaching private lessons for 11 years and has been assistant instructor for the Summer Drumset Camp for 9 years. He has also had experience as a guest clinician/workshop director.
